Day 11

It is possible I'm running out of things to say. How about a random list of fascinating Frances facts?

1. I like eating mayonnaise, but I do not like seeing mayonnaise. Blobs of mayonnaise on the kitchen counter are particularly troubling.

2. I felt vaguely ill as I wrote the above sentence.

3. Once, when I was six or seven, my cat birthed a litter of kittens on my lap. I had no idea what was happening at the time, and I have yet to recover.

4. The first love of my life was Bobby Mudd. I was seven. He didn't know I was alive.

5. If I didn't dye my hair, it would be almost entirely gray.

6. When I see women my age (late 40s) who have entirely gray heads of hair, I think they look really cool.

7. That doesn't mean I'm going to stop dying my hair.

8. I am helpless in front of a bag Doritos.

9. It's only been in the last year or so that I've stopped wondering if the people in the pews around me at church think I'm a good singer.

10. This is only because it finally occurred to me that I'm really not that good of a singer.

Okay, that's it for this Friday night! See you tomorrow with more fascinating tidbits!

Very, VERY fascinating Frances Facts! Watching kittens being birthed on your lap is a crazy thing. Mother cat must have felt very comfortable on your lap to consider you as her especial nest.

My hair is quite gray -- I'm 49. I'm keeping it, after all, I'm a grandma now!

Wonderful [apart from feline midwifery details]
Can I refer you to the book by Elizabeth Kubler Ross which details the stages of dy[e]ing - denial and anger ....leading on to acceptance.
I keep saying I will choose a lighter stage each time and be a ravishing blonde when I am 60 - then I forget and buy 'medium brown' again.
Having fabulous time here with Mags
-not eaten sausages eyt though.
weekend blessings xx

I am helpless before a packet of Jammy Dodgers. Am noting Angela's sausage comment. They weren't on the weekend's menu. Didn't want to make you jealous...

Here's a fact: I have yet to fully recover a taste for mayo. I'm told when I was a little lass I would sneak and eat, straight out the jars, mayonnaise and peanut butter together. It still makes me gag to think of it.

Oh, I like all those Frances facts!
You won't run out of things to say, no way.

I share the grey hair syndrome. Although I don't dye it because I'm scared of what the chemicals will do to my already sensitive skin. My hair has way less grey than my Mum's did at my age so I figure I'm going OK.

Those are some very fun facts. The cat one really threw me for a loop though!

Blessings!
