Welcome, dear reader, back to Will's room. I hope you'll notice some changes since your last visit.
Here is the view from Will's doorway. Note, perhaps for the first time, the floor. As in, the visible floor. The uncluttered floor. The floor without detritus, flotsam or jetsam.
I wish I could say the same for the walls, but that is not to be, dear reader.
Ah, another view of the bed. I reversed the comforter to its solid blue side, and then lay the quilt my mother made Will on top of it. Very nice!
And now, for your viewing pleasure, the famous Ikea table that the Man and I went dumpster-diving for. On top, the Lego fixin's for Hogwarts. I don't think I ever wrote about my summer project, in which I collected, sorted and stored all the pieces from the once proud Hogwarts, built circa Christmas 2007, destroyed shortly thereafter. Now Will is reconstructing Hogwarts, so Harry and Friends will soon have their school back ship shape.
I'm afraid Will's closet area will never look tidy, but it's better, and that's all I can ask for. I hope, by the way, you're comparing and contrasting these pictures with the pictures from my last post. I will be very hurt if you're not.
And by the way, in case you were wondering, Will now lives in the attic. It is, I fear, the only way.
The Day grew small.

Ahhh...the beauty of a tidy bedroom, even with walls still covered with stuff and a wardrobe still filled.
OK, now I'm going to show Mr Busy and let him see what is possible when you get tidied up......
....(2 minutes later)
I asked Mr Busy if he'd like to send Will a message. He just giggled. Actually, Mr Busy giggled a lot as I showed him the before and after shots of Will's room. I suspect Mr Busy is secretly proud of Will's mess. And wishes his room could look just like Will's does now. Because then he wouldn't have done any of the work required and it would just look spiffy.
They are Mess-Twins indeed.
Job well done! I bet he feels all kinds of productive about now!
Very nice! I'm sad to say that even MY bedroom doesn't look that tidy.
I love all the special decorations on the wall and you know I'm very fond of the orange walls. It's a great looking room - fresh and cosy and boyish and homey all at once.
Very impressed by this. Almost worthy of a feature in Real Simple Magazine![I LOVE RS, and have not found a proper British equivalent]
Hoping the Great Hogwarts Construction works out well.
Blessings xx
ps my bedroom is not that tidy either
Very nice work Frances! How long did it last before it was covered in legos?

Nice transformation! There seems a little bit less on the walls. More room for new sports stuff! The Lego area is terrific with room to expand and build. And I like the bed quilt on the solid blue very much.
Poor Will....to the attic with him? Didn't HP live under the stairs?

This is most wonderful- I nearly want to go straight upstairs and do something. Like lie down on my bed and ignore theirs completely! I have finally done my book post and given you full credit!
