107 As a 1930s wife, I am |
This is what I did for my blog anniversary. I admit I fudged a couple of answers. For instance, I was asked if I smoked, drank or doped. Well, I don't smoke, and I don't dope, and I don't think the occasional glass of Cabernet should get me lumped in with the smokers and dopers. So I committed a sin of omission by not checking that particular box. My great-grandmother would have understood.

Of course I'd be "very superior" if I didn't cook in my pjs.
I noticed your other blog is called "Reluctant Covert"...I was a reluctant convert too...against all of my "better" judgment I became a Christian...like you, I'm Anglican, and yes the schism is a complete bugger.
I'm very superior too, also with a little fudging, but I'm sure every 30s housewife fudged a little sometimes.

Yes, the cooking in your pjs question is the sort of thing you have to weigh--should it really count against you? I think not, especially in this day and age when so many people don't cook at all. Perhaps points should be taken away if you answer in the affirmative to "I frequently heat up frozen dinners in the microwave in my pjs," but never, ever if you're cooking from scratch.
I'm 'very superior' too. And yes, I don't think my 3 glasses of wine in a year count as boozing LOL.
